Loco for Cocoa

I always knew I was a chocolate addict... but after trying Beto's organic, handmade with love, chocolate rolls, my addiction has reached new heights. I had the pleasure of having my first bite of Beto chocolate on my first day in Pavones, Costa Rica. Since then, my eyes have been continuously on the look out for Beto on his bike with his cooler of freshly made rolls. Sometimes days will go by without seeing him, or just missing him - he's like Polkaroo in that sense.

Luckily, the amazing Amy Khoo (one of the reasons I ended up in this remote paradise) told Beto of my desperation and had him deliver me the goods.  Amy also put together a chocolate making workshop so that us addicts could be made aware of just how much work goes into making a single roll and why Beto is a saint for dealing with our dietary requests (no leche y no nueces y solo un poco de azucar y...y...y....)

Experiences like this make me forever grateful for people who work hard for their passions with positive mindsets and for people who support each other in their hustle.

Love, abound. Always.

Here's how it all goes down:
